Outfit of the Day: Double Belated Mother's Day Dinner

I know this blog post is a little late but it's not entirely just because I'm posting it late!

Mine and Tim's mom both prefer to go out and celebrate Mother's day away from the crowds and on non-mother's day. So the week before last week, after all the hustle and bustle of Mother's day was over our moms got to go out and have their own Mother's day celebration.

Outfit of the Day:

We took my mom out to her favorite Chinese restaurant. For this day I wore my Trashy Diva 1940's dress in Olivine Floral. I paired this with my purple cardigan, a modest tank for underneath, and my Sweetie Chelsea Crew heels. I've been avoiding wearing bright colors lately because it just hasn't felt right, but for my mom I took this dress out for a spin.

A few days later it was Tim's mom turn for her dinner. Tim's mom's choice for dinner was Applebee's. We started the night off with come cocktails then enjoyed a good dinner. For this night's activities I wore my Trashy Diva Doris dress in Cool Watercolors. I couldn't resist once again pairing my purple cardigan with my dress! To go perfectly with this dress, I also wore my blue Chelsea Crew heels. Got to love a good dress, a good cardigan, and good pair of Chelsea Crews ;)

  1. That's great you took both mothers out when it wasn't crazy out! I definitely always avoid going to restaurants on holidays.
I especially love the 1940's dress on you. Such a great shape!! I don't have any Chelsea Crews yet, but, they make a lot of really cute shoes, and some day I may snag a pair!

    1. Thanks Bristol. For me, I don't mind going out on the actual holiday ;) but what our mamas want our mamas get :) And yes, I would definitely recommend Chelsea Crews! They are priced pretty modestly, has super cute styles, and all the ones I have have been pretty comfy! <3
