Outfit of the Day: Two Weekday Dinner Dates

Last weekend Tim and I went snowboarding with some friends

Because I stayed home all day the day after on Sunday nursing sore muscles and aching bones I have no Outfit of the Day pics from this previous weekend. But I do have two after work weekday outfits to catch up on...

Outfit of the Day (Friday):

A couple weeks ago on a Friday I met up with a friend for dinner. For the event I chose to wear my new to me Trashy Diva Pontchartrain skirt! I paired this with a Trashy Diva Chambray Trixie top which I got a few month ago from Trashy Diva and a turquoisey light blue sweater I got from Target several years ago. For a finishing touch I wore this with a matching turquoise plaid belt which I was able to pick up from Trashy Diva and a pair of B.A.I.T. Ione pink heels I got a couple years ago on Amazon.

Outfit of the Day (Thursday):

The next week on a Thursday Tim and I met up with some friends for dinner. We decided to go out for Korean so I thought my Trashy Diva Annette in Chinese Opera would be a fun print to wear. I paired this with a purple cardigan and a pair of black Mia flats both from Nordstrom Rack from several years ago.

  2. The first outfit is such a great pairing of TD separates and the shoes really top off the look! The TD dress looks perfect with the purple cardigan. Gorgeous as always! x

  4. You look FABULOUS in both outfits, my dear! The first outfit is my favorite of the two, though. You know I am a huge fan of the purple & blue plaid :) I have wanted those dark pink BAITs Iones forever, but they were sold out everywhere once I started looking for them.

    1. Thank you Bristol! I love the purple and blue plaid Annette on you! One day I hope I find the dress version of this print but until I am over the moon to have the skirt! <3 Sorry you haven't been able to find these shoes. I know what you mean. I bought these 1/2 size too big and have been looking for a smaller pair to no avail. Maybe one day they will rerelease these shoes in this color! <3

  6. Fantastic outfits! I've been meaning to tell you, honey, that are the first face that I associate with Trashy Diva's offerings now (I don't own any myself, but have been swooning over them for years now - hopefully one day!).

    Big hugs,
    ♥ Jessica

    1. Hehe! Thank you Jessica. I do love Trashy Diva! They are definitely the brand I most buy and wear these days. I have some dress reviews I need to get on too now that you remind me! <3 I hope you will be able to buy some Trashy Diva one day soon! I cannot even properly express how much I love them! <3 Keep an eye out for their sales! They do awesome sales especially when things go sale on sale. Also at the moment all gingham is 30% off until the 10th (I believe) ;)

    1. Yay for dress twins with Chinese Opera! It's such a fun print and I love the feel of the material! Sorry you missed out on the plaid. I only recently was able to acquire this skirt myself as I also missed out it the first time around. I'm hoping Trashy Diva will redo this print one day as I'd love to get this print in the Annette dress! I hope you will be able to pick something up in this print yourself one day. I think it would look just gorgeous on you Lauren! <3
